Merging/Aggregating multiple CSV or text files into a single file

If you ever have a need to merge/aggregate/concatenate multiple text files into a single file, you can easily create a simple batch file.

1. Create a new text document

2. Paste the following script:

cd %~dp0
copy *.csv aggregate.csv

3. Save the document with an extension “.bat”

4. Place the batch fileĀ into the folder where the the files you want to aggregate exist

5. Run the file and a new file will exist in the same location.

This will work for any text files – just change the file extension!
